Bouldermania 2010

Kicking off the competition season for 2010, Bouldermania 2010 is organised by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), University Mountaineering Club (UMC).

While there has been speculation about Bouldermania becoming an open competition next year, the personnel here at SgClimb.Com were sad to hear that it isn’t. However, instead of the usual festival- style of competition, Bouldermania will be more competitive. That is, it will be rotation format, and scoring will be based on the IFSC, bonus/top system.

Details are as follows, and the invited institutions will be contacted through their clubs by UMC.

Competition Format: Rotation, 1 ROUND only

Schools and institutions that have been invited includes -

• Varsities – NUS, SMU
• Polytechnics – SP, RP, NYP, NP, TP
• All Junior College students may participate

Points to Note:

1. Registration forms (can be downloaded here) have to be sent to ntuclimbs@gmail.com BEFORE 8th Jan 2010.
2. Each participating school may only send 4 participants per sex per category.
3. Payments can be made on the day of competition itself.
4. Foreigners who do not reside permanently in Singapore are only allowed to take part in Open Category (exchange student and tourist etc.)
